Table Leveling Socks
Self-adjusting feet that slip over table legs and take out the wobble on uneven floors.
Overview
What the problem was and why existing fixes (folded napkins, screw-in feet) weren’t good enough. What the “sock” does differently.
How it works
The mechanism. Is it passive, like a ratchet or a compliant pad that locks under load, or active? Diagrams help a lot here, even a quick sketch.
Design and prototyping
- Material: TODO filament or rubber, hardness, grip
- Fit: TODO how it adapts to different leg sizes and shapes
- Iterations: TODO what changed between versions and why
Testing
How you checked it actually works. Which tables, which floors, how much wobble it removes.
Status and next steps
- TODO: where it stands
